Grown on the lush slopes of Cubulco in Baja Verapaz, this coffee flourishes at 1,500–1,800 m above sea level. The volcanic soils and cool, misty climate slow cherry maturation, concentrating sugars and enhancing clarity. Smallholder farms dot the region, where traditional practices and careful hand-picking ensure only perfectly ripe cherries make it to processing.

This lot features the Catuai varietal, prized for its balance and sweetness. After depulping, the beans undergo a classic washed process: gentle fermentation, thorough rinsing, and then slow drying on raised beds. The result is a clean cup that truly reflects the terroir of Baja Verapaz.
